The excitement continued with an interception shortly there after by Senior Josh Elinsky. The rest of the half was back and forth, but scoreless until the last minute of the half. Junior Destin Donaldson scored shortly before the half ended, giving Neah Kah Nie a 26-6 halftime lead.
The second half saw further success with Tristian Bennett scoring two more touchdowns. He wasn't the only Pirate with multiple touchdowns; Junior Mychal Kelly was able to put two touchdowns on the board as well, with Josh Elinsky being the other scorer for the Pirates.
There was a lengthy pause in the game due to an injury sustained by a Reedsport player. The status of their condition and recovery is unknown at this time.
After picking up the game after the break, Reedsport was able to score a touch down to inch closer to Neah Kah Nie. But their efforts were too little too late.
